The architectural challenge of addressing the uneven terrain at a street corner has evolved into an opportunity for the design team to create innovative horizontal and vertical connections. The building comprises two interconnected volumes, with a pedestrian-friendly ground floor serving as a permeable link between them. This space enhances the experiential quality with active facades along an integrated internal path, seamlessly connected to the public sidewalk. Enriched with abundant natural ventilation, benches, and flower beds, the ground floor transforms into a reimagined public square, offering shelter from rain over a significant portion of its extension. Responding to the ground unevenness, the building features a staircase and grandstand that serve both as a passage and a seating area, surrounded by lush greenery. Vertically, the structure includes a cross-sectional cut in its smaller volume, creating a charming internal courtyard adjacent to the staircase and grandstand. The development exudes dynamism and invites exploration, contributing value to its surroundings. The sense of movement and fluidity extends to the facade, adapting to various floor plan configurations and presenting a unique design on each side of the building. This concept is reflected in other spaces within the development, such as the residential entrance and furnishings. The interplay between the two volumes organizes usage, grouping different residential typologies within the tower. Studios and apartments with one, two, and three bedrooms feature separate entrances, ensuring increased privacy based on the unit type. Non-residential slabs are concentrated in a five-story volume with independent access.
