Geeta Silwal

Geeti Silwal, Principal and Western Region Urban Design Leader at Perkins&Will's San Francisco Office, is helping to make communities across the U.S. more resilient.  With forethought, intuition, and an eye for adaptability towards rapidly evolving urbanscape, Geeti has played a pivotal role in reimagining cities across the nation to deliver more equitable, resilient, and responsive environments.  She believes transforming the urban fabric to enable a default low-carbon existence through intentionally designed transit-integrated communities is important to deliver on the aspiration of an equitable city. Additionally, designing everyday city spaces that have the power to instill pride and dignity and build memorable shared experiences are her primary interest.
